The Operations and Assurance Lead role is to oversee the support structures in ENA in support of the Regional Director. It is a critical role to oversee the finance, operations and compliance support for all programming in the region.

The main purpose of the job is to deliver an integrated approach to Tearfund's international work, with responsibility for the delivery of Tearfund's four Corporate Priorities (CPs) and accountability of Country Strategies within the region assigned:

CP 1: Church and Community Transformation (CCT)
CP 2: Environmental and Economic Sustainability (EES)
CP 3: Reconciled and Peace-filled Societies (RPS)
CP 4: Crisis to Resilience (C2R)

An exciting role of Programme Funding Manager has arisen in our Eurasia and North Africa team to be based in one of our ENA countries. The Programme Funding Team exists within Tearfund as the center of specialised expertise and skills on the acquisition of Institutional Funding.

The post holder will ensure the systematic application of safety and security risk management practices across all of Tearfund’s operational areas and regional office in the region of Eurasia North Africa (ENA) (currently Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Jordan). They will achieve this through the assessment and analysis of threats, the maintenance and updating of safety and security plans and procedures, and the provision of advice to manage risk. The post holder will deliver training and briefings, coaching staff and partners, respond to and manage critical incidents.
