       I.            Who we are
SNAP - Special Needs Activity Programs is an inclusive special education center which offers personalized programs and therapies for individuals between the age of 3 and 25 having mild to moderate Special Needs (SN), Learning Difficulties (LD), other difficulties, as well as individuals with no disabilities.
SNAP center offers early detection and intervention to nurseries (partnership with the syndicate of nurseries’ owners in Lebanon), academic programs, extra- curricular activities, individualized therapies and will offer parents and siblings programs, vocational and transition programs from school to adult life through interactive hands-on and Multi-Sensory experiences.
SNAP is open during the week days from 9:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. 

A-    Mission: To give each child with special needs the opportunity to nurture and blossom his/her their mental and physical abilities in order to progress and excel in life, while increasing awareness among the parents.
We emphasize on the holistic development of each child including moral, intellectual, social, emotional, physical strength and well‐being.

B-    Beliefs: We believe that every individual with a special need and learning difficulty has the right to receive appropriate care without labeling, in an inclusive setting to develop feelings of security and confidence in order to merge and progress within the society.

C-    Achievements:

 Winner: The Blessing Foundation: To empower women in business (2013)
 Winner: Mowgli Foundation at Berytech (2013 - 2014)
 Winner: EDIP Entrepreneurship Development Program: UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization, in 2015)

Certification:  Enterprise  Development  &  Investment  Promotion  Program  Organized  by  Arab Regional Center for Entrepreneurship & Investment Training – Bahrain, in Cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture and the Italian Cooperation for Development (2015)

 Winner: 1st prize of the 3rd edition of the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC), awarded to « SNAP ».

The GSVC is initiated by the «UC Berkeley Haas School of Business» and organized by “ESSEC Business School”, for the aim of supporting and encouraging social entrepreneurship in Lebanon and the region; In collaboration with BLC Bank and in partnership with Université Saint Joseph, and Berytech.

       II.            What we offer
 A.    SNAP Goal
 The individualized curricular and extra-curricular programs and therapies at SNAP will lead to the improvement of the individuals’, social, emotional, physical, behavioral and cognitive skills. Arrangements of small groups at SNAP will develop in the students, feelings of security and confidence while still merging and progressing along with other individuals.
SNAP center aims to break down barriers so individuals with special needs and learning disabilties are welcomed in the same range of schools and society services as all other community members.

 B.    SNAP Objectives:
 Through educational, cognitive, interactive and fun experiences, SNAP center aims to cater to the needs of a wide range of special cases in an inclusive setting, in order to:

Prepare students with special needs and learning difficulties for success at school and for life-long learning
Promote behavioral management  techniques
Increase the individual’s focus, concentration and responsiveness
Promote relaxation and calming techniques
Develop communication and social skills through team building activities and social circles
Enhance fine and gross motor skills
Enhance and develop the child’s organization and study skills required for school success
Promote independency and life-skills
Provide a health education and safety measures programs that are relevant, consistent, sequential and age appropriate
Provide each student with the technology skills that are age-appropriate to the educational and social requirements of contemporary society
Provide sufficient and adequate information, tools and techniques through prevention and awareness programs  to the whole family, parents, siblings, and the child   him/herself (when applicable) 
Provide each SNAP student with support and follow up at school 
Attain physical, social, emotional and cognitive development through multi-sensory therapies
Provide pre-vocational exposure to children with special needs who are less than 15 years old
Provide vocational training for individuals with special needs who are more than 15 years of age
Ensure ongoing professional growth of SNAP’s team members by attending workshops, seminars, conferences, and others
Seek partnership and affiliations with pioneer centers abroad to innovate and enhance the techniques and methods used at the center
Conducting research studies to tackle important issues and gathering information related to the Lebanese population
Raising awareness in different sectors of the community especially in schools, educational institutions, health care institutions, nurseries, and local authorities such as municipalities
Assisting universities to open special needs departments for students with special cases
