Experience of work with the international organizations, high-level government officials representing central governmental bodies and local administrations
Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) 

Job description

Ensure operational management of LEDA in compliance with the LEDAs Internal Rules and Regulations
Co-ordinate and encourage the activities of the LEDA staff in accordance with specific requests and instructions issued by the LEDA Management Board.
Conduct and coordinate the actions included in the annual plan, through organizing the human, technical and financial resources at disposal in the most effective and efficient way, and control the compliance of the staff with the duties.
Responsible for the implementation of the LEDA yearly business plan.
He/She control the discipline.
Agree performance targets with the LEDA staff members individually.
Hold regular LEDA team meetings to review results, plans, new ideas, problems, etc.; invite members of the LEDA Management Board to participate in each meeting.
Monitor performance of the LEDA team members and conduct twice-yearly staff performance appraisals.
Provide guidance and one on one training to LEDA team members; actively participate in training programs aimed at the development of his/her professional skills.
Ensure that the LEDA clients’ database is correctly and adequately used by all LEDA staff and that the LEDA provides information to the LEDA Management Board promptly and in the format requested.
Actively promote the services of the LEDA as a whole in the local community by contributing to the local media, addressing local meetings, staging events at the LEDA, and through other appropriate activities.
Ensure that local experience, success stories, contacts, and other useful information is promptly and adequately disseminated.
Ensure that all LEDA facilities and equipment are maintained in good serviceable condition.
Ensure that the LEDA at all times presents a good image to clients, donors, and the public in general.
Actively promote productive linkages between the LEDA, other NGO’s, and other relevant organizations.
Prepare quarterly action plans and progress reports.
Handle correspondence and keep the filing system related to the all LEDA matters
Represent the LEDA, when required, vis-a-vis other UN organizations in Lebanon, donor organizations, other international organizations, as well as national Government and non-governmental institutions and endeavor to build professional relationships with local, regional and national authorities in order to ensure full participation of a broad spectrum of national leadership in the identification, planning and execution of LEDA activitie

Dependence:
1. The director cannot change the operational plan, unless agreed with the Board. 2. He/She reports to the Board. 3. He/She cannot authorize expenses unless defined and approved by the LEDA Management Board.4. Agree performance targets and indicators for the LEDA as a whole with the LEDA Management Board.5. Keep constant communication with the members of the LEDA Management Board.6. The Technical Director shall act under the supervision of the Management Board of the LEDA and reports to Management Board. He/She shall conduct him/herself in a professional and ethical manner at all times and will not enter into any activities, which may adversely affect the image of the LEDA as a whole.
Autonomy:1. He/She applies the ways he/she consider best in organizing, coordinating, and controlling the LEDA resources put at disposal, in the respect with the LEDAs Internal Rules and Regulations2. He/She implements the technical actions assigned by the Board3. He/She prepares the proposals for the annual action plan4. He/She finds the best ways for promoting the LEDA and raising funds5. He/She authorizes expenses, according to the annual operational plan and budget.6. He/She gives delegation in consultation with LEDA Management Board, if he/she temporarily cannot conduct the task.
