Political Reform Editor

KULLUNA IRADA is a civic movement for political reform founded in 2015 by Lebanese from the diaspora and from Lebanon looking to put their passion for change, their expertise as well as their human and financial capital at the benefit of good governance in public policies and to become a platform for all civic-minded citizens. KULLUNA IRADA’s work is centered on three areas of intervention: public policies through proposition of governance reform in pressing public issues, citizenship through becoming the voice and the platform to all reform-minded citizens, and grassroots to disseminate its ideas and principles within various groups of society and build its constituency. KULLUNA IRADA is now constituting an executive team and is looking for a motivated and committed political reform editor, in charge of:
 

Under management from the good governance and public policies director:

Production of relevant policy content
Research and investigation on specific topics and public issues
Distilling information from reports and formulating it in interesting ways relevant to the public

In collaboration with the communications team,

Translating content from text to infographics and posters to be used in a wide range of contexts
Writing scripts and imagining awareness campaigns based on policy research and content
Producing social media posts and content

 
Skills:

At least three years of experience in journalism, media or research
Good knowledge of public issues in Lebanon
Experience in political communication is a plus
Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative
Excellent writing and reading command of either English or Arabic , and good knowledge of the other is a must. French is a plus
High ethics and motivation to work for change
