Jibal is looking for a communication consultant to support with a specific project on food and agriculure.

The purpose of this work is to respond to the rapidly deteriorating food security situation of vulnerable people in Lebanon. The Marketing Consultant is expected to help a market.

The project– “Towards Solidarity in the Lebanese Food Sector” broadly seeks to support the transformation of the Lebanese food system towards a more environmentally-sound and cooperative model by specifically working towards:
1. The economic and environmental sustainability of farmers and food producers
2. The accessibility of local quality products to consumers from vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds.

The project is funded by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.

The consultant will conduct studies on the financial benefits of sustainable agriculture.
