Generalist Field Officer 3 contributes to defining, implementing, and monitoring ICRC projects and activities in coordination with the structure’s management, and to representing the ICRC at local/national level. The qualified candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in political sciences, social sciences, or any other job relevant field, with 4 to 6 years of total work experience in a related field - at least 3 years of experience as a manager or programme officer in similar position at the ICRC or an international/non-governmental organization.

The Operational Communication Officer contributes to developing and implementing the delegation’s strategy on proximity communication, aimed at enhancing acceptance of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the National Red Cross/Red Crescent Society in the country. The qualified candidate should have a master’s degree in communications, political science, international relations or journalism, with minimum of 5 years international work experience in communications or public relations - at least 1 year of experience in similar contexts.

The Water and Energy Resources Engineer contributes to the overall Water and Habitat program quality by conducting thematic research to enable evidence-based decision-making during program & projects planning; providing multi-sectoral analysis of public systems and their interdependencies to improve resilience-building and systems thinking; supporting in the conceptualization, coordination, implementation of enhanced MEAL strategies. The qualified candidate should have a Master’s/bachelor’s degree in water resource management 4 – 6 years’ professional experience in water related fields;

Environment and Climate Change Specialist support the delegation in identifying and implementing projects to reduce their environmental impacts, particularly concerning sustainable energy, waste management, supply chain management, greenhouse gas emissions, etc. The qualified candidate should have a master’s degree in engineering with specialization in waste management, environmental sciences, sustainable and/or renewable energy, with 6 - 9 years of experience in climate/environmental project management, data management, analysis and reporting at an international/non-governmental organization.

The Construction Project Manager is in charge of all matters related to a Tripoli Governmental Hospital (TGH) infrastructure project undertaken within the framework of the Protocol for the Management of ICRC Construction Projects (PMCP). The qualified candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or any other job relevant field, with minimum 10 years of overall professional experience in construction project development and management preferably at an international non-governmental organization.

The Weapon Contamination (WeC) Field Officer supports the implementation and monitoring of WeC activities, contributes directly to ensuring staff safety and the continuation of critical operations, helping vulnerable people and supporting National Societies in situations of conventional or non-convention WeC. The qualified candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, civil engineering or any other job relevant field, with minimum 3 years of professional experience, and at least 2 years' experience in weapon contamination, mine action, or any other relevant job.

The Weapon Contamination (WeC) Specialist’s role is to reduce the impact of weapon contamination on affected communities by using and sharing his/her specific knowledge within the program concerned. The qualified candidate should have a bachelor's degree in chemical, environmental, civil engineering or any other job relevant field, with minimum 10 years of overall professional experience, and at least 5 years' experience in Explosive ordnance disposal and/or chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear operations and scene analysis with civil or military authorities.

The WatHab Engineer plans, designs and implements engineering projects within the scope of the ICRC's water and habitat assistance objectives. S/he carries out needs assessments and surveys and plans new projects. The qualified candidate should have a degree in architecture, mechanical, civil or structural engineering or similar. Field experience in projects supervision and management with 6-8 years' professional experience in a related field - 1–2 years' professional experience at the ICRC or an international NGO an asset - 1–2 years' experience in emergency response an asset.
