Location:                               North, Lebanon (with travel all across the north region, weekly trips to Beirut)

Summary: The Driver is responsible for the maintenance of the vehicle in his possession to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness when the vehicle is in use for HAI as well as the safe transport of staff and international visitors to and from meetings and field locations in Akkar/Tripoli area and throughout Lebanon.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 

Drive HAI vehicles safely, security briefing and hostile-environment-training will be provided
Transport mail/items with due care
Prepare monthly driver report
Transport local and international staff
Communicate with supervisor regarding all trips
Maintain high level of confidentiality
Familiar with all Lebanese roads and alternate routes, especially in North Lebanon

 
 
Supervisory Responsibilities:     
 
The Driver must: Have a Valid Lebanese Driving Permit, drive safely, carefully and defensively, following traffic rules and regulation; transport all HAI staff and visitors safely and on time; clean and maintain the interior and exterior of vehicles regularly and replenish fuel, oil and lubricants upon need; ensure that the vehicle has proper tools in case of roadside problem.

Education and/or Experience: Good driving skills and confidence on the roads. Must possess a valid driving license at all times and ensure that the license is renewed when necessary

Language Skills:  Native speaker of Arabic and good knowledge of English.

Communication Skills: Listens and gets clarification, responds well to questions and feedback.
