The BDD Academy supported by the World Bank, UNICEF and other key donors is managing several strategic projects that aim to develop talent to work in the digital and creative sector.

The project is composed of the design and development of an online platform for micro-credentials to enhance access to employability and intermediation services, skills and job matching, and private sector linking within the digital economy for youth. The platform vision, strategy and roadmap will be determined during a product design phase that will involve different types of stakeholders

Job Role:

The BDD Talent Development Hub is looking for a Training Coordinator to support in the implementation of an 8-month project. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of the grant’s activities and operations to achieve the intended objective. At the same time, he/she will support the team in coordinating all activities related to building a sustainable model beyond the 11-month implementation time frame of the grant.

Today, the BDD Academy supported by the World Bank, UNICEF and other key donors is managing several strategic projects that aim to develop talent to work in the digital and creative sector.

The implementation of offline career guidance activities, trainings and certifications as well as online and offline employment services to support around 5.000 youth in identifying their potential careers, acquiring certifications from global Tech players and getting support to find internships and jobs.

The Partnership & Growth Manager will be working in collaboration with the Product Manager and the Program Manager to lead the development of a brand for the platform, coordinate its marketing activities, and drive user growth. She/he will also be responsible of developing and maintaining the partnerships with local and international providers required to grow the platform user base and content. She/he will also contribute to finding and validating a sustainable business model for the platform.

Forward MENA (previously BDD Academy) is looking for a Product Associate (PA) to handle the development, management and implementation of a platform, related to a 10-month project, funded by a major international organization.

The PA will be guided by a Product Manager to handle the design and development of the online platform.

They will be handling the tasks agreed on with the product manager to ensure the successful design and implementation of the platform and to achieve the intended objectives. Finally, the PA will act as a primary point of contact for the donors and stakeholders.

Role Summary:
The BDD Talent Development Hub is looking for a part time Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to develop and manage the monitoring and evaluation plan under the World Bank financed SUL grant. Under the SUL project, he/she will be responsible to assist in developing and refining monitoring and evaluation tools and systems to monitor the efficacy of the activities under SUL Project. This includes of best practices in data collection, as well as analysis of existing data. At the same time, he/she will support in the setup of all project’s Key Performance Indicators.

BDD Academy is looking for a Program Director to lead a 16-month project funded by a major international organization.The project will bring together the public sector, private sector, key digital technology players, educational institutions to develop and empowering bridge from skills training to employment opportunities. She/he will have to work with a senior product manager to manage the online platform, and a team of approximately five FTEs to manage the training stream. She/he will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of this project’s activities the intended objective

The BDD Talent Development Hub is looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to manage the internship program under the World Bank financed SUL project. Specifically, he/she will be providing support in researching the market, identifying internship opportunities, and matching the talents of the university students, university graduates as well as jobs seekers in the digital and creative sector with the right opportunities. He/she will be responsible for the constant follow up with interns and employers ensuring a successful implementation of the internship.

The BDD Talent Development Hub is looking for a Communications Coordinator to develop and implement the communication and marketing campaigns related to the World Bank financed SUL grant. He/she will be responsible to promote the grant objectives and activities and highlight results. He/she will also optimize the online and offline presence of all SUL project activities and will help grow the community engaging with the SUL project. At the same time, he/she will coordinate fund-raising activities aiming to build a sustainable model beyond the 12-month implementation time frame of the grant.
