We offer: A traineeship of up to 6 months within the Political Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Lebanon, sub-office Syria, starting in October-November 2023.

The European Union (EU) is an economic and political partnership between 27 European countries. It plays an important role in international affairs through diplomacy, trade, development aid and working with global organizations. Abroad, the EU is represented through more than 140 diplomatic representations, known also as EU Delegations, which have a similar function to those of an embassy.
The EU Delegation to Lebanon, Beirut is a fully-fledged diplomatic mission and represent the European Union in dealings with the Lebanese government in areas that are part of the EU’s remit.

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for European Civil protection and Humanitarian aid Operations (ECHO), funds relief operations for victims of natural disasters and conflicts outside the European Union. For humanitarian aid, the Commission works with about 200 operational partners, including United Nation agencies, the Red Cross/Crescent movement and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Aid is channeled impartially, straight to victims, regardless of their race, ethnic group, religion, gender, age, nationality or political affiliation.
