Committee For The Follow-Up On Women’S Issues
The Committee for the Follow-Up on Women’s Issues-CFUWI is a non-governmental organization established according to decree number, 71/AD Issued on June 12th , 1996 .
The Objectives:
To develop the participation of women on all levels of social, economic and political aspects of life, and to eliminate all types of discrimination against women.
To upgrade awareness concerning the concept of GENDER and to integrate gender mainstreaming within the national policies.
To develop the participation of women in the decision making process.
To consolidate the norms and values of human rights including the genuine rights of women.
To encourage intercommunication among women on the local, regional and international levels.
