This position is responsible for assessment, response analysis, design and implementation of the food security and livelihood components of CARE’s emergency response. S/he will need to co-ordinate with other team members and CARE staff, especially food security, logistics, gender and protection and technical sectors, to ensure a rapid, proportionate and effective response. S/he will need to ensure response to immediate food security and livelihood issues with simultaneous consideration of needs and possible scenarios.

The WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Specialist will oversee the management and implementation of sewage and water infrastructure projects in various regions across Lebanon. This role involves coordinating and supervising construction activities to ensure the successful execution of projects. The WASH Specialist will work closely with local authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all activities are carried out effectively, on time, and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
