Association Najdeh is a feminist secular non-governmental organization that was founded during the civil war in 1976 and registered in the Lebanese Internal Affairs Ministry as a civil independent non-governmental organization in 1978 (apprised and notified as 0169 \ED). Since its initiation, it has targeted women, especially vulnerable ones, and fought for their rights, and empowered them on economic, social, educational and legal levels.

جمعية النجدة الإجتماعية هي مؤسسة نسوية علمانية تأسست مع بداية الحرب الأهلية في العام 1976، وسجلت في وزارة الداخلية اللبنانية كجمعية أهلية مستقلة غير حكومية في العام 1978 تحت علم وخبر0169\أد. منذ تأسيسها، إستهدفت الجمعية النساء، خاصة النساء المهمشات، من أجل الدفاع عن حقوقهن وتمكينهن على المستويات: الإقتصادية، الإجتماعية، المعرفية، القانونية والحقوقية.

تؤمن جمعية النجدة الإجتماعية بأن حقوق الإنسان بشكل عام، وحقوق الإنسان للنساء، هي حقوق شاملة وشمولية لا تقبل التجزئة أو التمييز. ولهذا تعتبر الجمعية أن النضال الديمقراطي من أجل مجتمعات ديمقراطية علمانية حديثة هي شرط ضروري وأساسي لتحقيق المواطنة
