World Refugee Day Violations Against Refugees In Lebanon Should End!
The Lebanese Center for Human Rights and the Anti-Racism Movement are pleased to invite you to a press conference entitled:
WORLD REFUGEE DAY Violations against refugees in Lebanon should end!
On Friday June 21 at 5:00 pm At Nasawiya
Since Lebanon did not ratify the 1951 convention on the refugees status, refugees from Iraq, Sudan, and other countries are treated in Lebanon as illegal migrants, prevented from working, circulating freely and sometimes arrested and tortured. World refugee day is an occasion for the refugees re-voice their issues, claim their rights and find means for our organizations to support their struggles. This Friday, before going out to start your weekends, please make it a point to pass by to express your solidarity with the refugees. It will be appreciated. The press conference, during which activists and refugees will speak, is open to the public.
