Business Marketing Coordinator

Main responsibilities include:

Ensure implementation of the Regional BD Plan:

• Support the Regional Director and the country teams to ensure the successful implementation of the regional Business plan and provide updates on progress and changes for each Quarterly Business Review.

Stakeholder Management:

• Responsible for holding and communicating information regarding stakeholder engagement in the region, to include current clients, potential clients and partners and ensuring stakeholder ‘ownership’ by team members;
• Attend events, talks or other opportunities for stakeholder engagement held in the region

Pursuit Management:

• Ensure that the regional and country teams are pursuing leads on potential opportunities and engaging with clients and partners through meetings, conferences and networking events.
• Coordinate and oversee regional opportunities and pipeline with the Client Engagement Team (CET) and each country team by:
  • Logging and monitoring activities on past, current, and upcoming opportunities;
  • Monitoring the status of engagements, supporting positioning and ensuring relationships with partners and clients are being upheld;
• Support scoping for expansion into new countries (including market analysis, donor engagement, research, scoping visits);
• Draw in practice areas for concept note development, proposals, engagement opportunities, understanding donor priorities;
• Engage with associates/SMEs for input to pursuits and bids

Bidding:

• Support the writing, compliance and commercials of bids and update CET and Senior Management Teams (SMT) on ongoing process, lessons learned and procurement processes with new donors/clients to CET.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Conduct pipeline and financial analyses ad a means of tracking progress towards revenue targets
• Update and communicate with the CET on progress and decisions.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have:

• Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
• A bachelors’ degree gained from a reputable university. Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• Fluent English and Arabic language skills
• Previous experience in the development sector and working with donor funded projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Middle East
