Akkarouna is a local non-profit NGO that is managing wo main offices in the Northern region of Lebanon, namely in Akkar, and Tripoli. Its aim is to achieve sustainable socio-economic growth through youth, women and children empowerment by building their capacities, enhancing community networks, implementing development projects and spreading awareness about rights and citizenship under 5 pillars: Shelter, Protection, Social Stability, Livelihood and Governance.

The MEAL Officer plays a key role in ensuring the proper service delivery and accountability to stakeholders within the communities under Akkarouna.

Livelihood counselling is an approach that includes career guidance services and activities intended to assist individuals, male and female, of any age and at any point throughout their lives, to make tailored and appropriate educational, training and occupational choices and to manage their careers.

Under the supervision of the direct line manager, the CHP officer is in charge of the needs’ assessment, the preparation, implementation and monitoring of distribution of Water Trucking, Dislodging, shelter kit and conducting Hygiene Promotion activities in Informal settlements of Syrian refugees and surrounding host communities.

the Construction team leader will oversee the various daily program operations and the coordination of all aspects as defined in the operation proposals. The construction team leader will collaborate with the Project Manager in the ongoing implementation of activities which include Wash construction and innovative water and wastewater project. Construction team leader will directly supervise the Construction supervisors and technicians.

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the community hygiene promoter (CHP)/service Team Leader “is responsible for implementing, monitoring and reporting on hygiene promotion, community engagement and solid waste activities conducted by the CHP officers.

The project manager is in charge of implementing and achieving the objectives defined in the proposals.
He/she is in charge of supervising the operational teams.
He/she guarantees the proper execution and the quality of the implemented programs and, if applicable, suggests adjustments or developments to ensure its relevance.

The Educator will ensure that program implementation is timely and of a high technical quality, monitoring processes are in place, timely reporting occurs, the program is continually assessed, and solutions quickly put in place should there be a change of context.

As a member of the Livelihoods team, the Livelihoods Officer under the supervision of the Program Manager will oversee on the implementation of the Livelihood programmes in Akkar, and support programme assessment and design.

He/she will ensure that the Livelihood intervention is of the highest technical quality, that monitoring processes are in place, that
reporting is high-quality and timely, and that the programme is continually assessed and solutions quickly put in place for any
changes in local context.
