Job Description
The Community Mobilizers are integral to implementing Health and Protection awareness They will engage the most vulnerable populations, mobilize participation, raise awareness about disability & inclusion, and support community-level interventions. Mobilizers will provide vital information, resources, and linkages to ensure effective outreach and inclusion.

Fnaydeq, Akkar Atiqa, Hrar, Rahbe, Akroum, Al-Qoubayat, Berqayel, Al-Mhamra, Machta Hasan,
Miniyeh Danniyeh:
Beit El Faes
North Lebanon:
Tripoli, Koura, Mankoubi, Chekka
To facilitate their participation, ADJI will provide a compensation package, including a per diem and transportation allowance of $15 per day, capped at 10 days per month.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement and Mobilization:
Engage and mobilize the most vulnerable populations, including people with disabilities (PwDs), the elderly, and caregivers, ensuring their participation in project activities.
Raise awareness within the community about project goals, services offered, and protection issues through meetings, events, and distribution of educational materials.
Foster relationships with local authorities, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure inclusive and effective project implementation.
Beneficiary Recruitment and Referrals:
Collaborate with the Protection Team Leader, Social Workers, Physiotherapy Centers in the catchment area, and other team members to ensure proper referrals for beneficiaries to appropriate services, ensuring timely follow-up.
Collaboration with Project Teams:
Work closely with the Protection Team Leader, Social Workers, and other team members to ensure effective service delivery, including Psychosocial Support (PSS) and protection activities.
Coordinate with the Community Engagement Coordinator to ensure the inclusion of beneficiaries in relevant programs and activities across the catchment area.
Coordination with Other Community Mobilizers:
Collaborate with Community Mobilizers from other areas to ensure a unified approach in reaching the target population and sharing best practices.
Exchange information and resources with other mobilizers to ensure all vulnerable populations are adequately served across different catchment areas.
Community Awareness and Protection Campaigns:
Lead and assist in organizing community outreach campaigns, providing protection education and raising awareness about rights, health, and safety.
Distribute educational materials that promote community engagement, and ensure the community understands how to access available services.
Data Collection and Reporting:
Collect data on beneficiary participation, community engagement, and feedback through surveys and direct contact.
Maintain accurate records and reports on community activities, referrals, and any protection concerns to ensure the proper documentation and tracking of outcomes.
Feedback and Accountability:
Establish and maintain a system for collecting beneficiary feedback to improve service quality and trust.
Ensure that feedback is acted upon in a timely manner, addressing concerns and improving community relations.
Building Community Trust and Inclusion:
Work to ensure equal representation of communities, facilitating access to services for all, particularly those at risk of exclusion.
Capacity Building and Training:
Support the Protection Team Leader and other senior staff in delivering training and necessary capacity building activities.
Qualifications
Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written), with proficiency in English.
Secondary diploma or higher in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Community Development, Health Promotion).
Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly in community mobilization roles within NGOs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse community members and stakeholders.
Transversal Skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage stress while engaging with vulnerable populations and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Conflict resolution and analytical thinking for addressing challenges during community outreach and coordination.
Adaptability in working with different communities and overcoming barriers to participation.
