Sub-Granting Consulting

Responsibilities:
- Manage the launching and dissemination of the call for proposals for subgrating opportunities from FEMALE.
- Support in updating the mapping of young Feminist groups initiatives in the SAWANA region.
- Review proposals submitted in response to the call for subgrants and shortlist top applications.
- Coordinate and follow up with the grants selection committee and compile selection results.
- Support the sub-grantees designing and in developing comprehensive programs focused on women and gender rights. This includes finalizing proposal documents, budget, and MEAL plans.
- Lead on the coordination and follow-up with the subgrantees starting from the contracting phase and all over the implementation and reporting period
- Offer personalized technical guidance and support to selected groups, addressing their unique needs and challenges related to project implementation and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of the sub-granting process.
- Lead the preparation and implementation of capacity development activities targeting sub-granted groups.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and values. Collaborate with other consultants or stakeholders to enhance the overall impact of the programs.
- Keeping the programs and support teams at FEMALE informed on monthly updates through reports or emails related to sub granting.
- Prepare a comprehensive final report related to the sub granting process, outcomes, learning and recommendation
- This role requires a commitment to feminist principles, and inclusivity, aiming to create an environment that fosters the growth and development of young individuals within the community.

Key Qualifications:
. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in youth or feminist activism or communication or programs management;
• Experience in Projects and initiatives design and planning, both on programmatic and financial levels;
• Knowledge of gender and familiarity with the human rights and feminist work approaches;
• Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English is mandatory;
• Excellent ability to write reports, briefing papers and research in English;
• Excellent skills in time management and problem-solving.
