Description: 

Ghawth is a non-governmental organization working to provide health services to all needy people all over lebanon. Ghawth Provides prinary, secondary and turtiory services, as well as other projects with health scope.

Procurement:

  • Prepare, coordinate and implement procurement plans for all Ghawth offices in compliance with donor requirements an Ghawth standards.
  • Coordinate the reception, and evaluation of quotations, or proposals for goods or services.
  • Ensure the quality of goods upon delivery complies with the requirements submitted to the supplier.
  • Ensure timely, efficient and effective procurement of goods,services and works, while strictly adhering to the procurement policy and other relevant Ghawth policies. 
  • Establish the specifications of goods and services required by the organization, in collabroration with the relevant departments while ensuring the quality of purchased goods and services.
  • Negotiate the best deals for pricing and supply contracts.
  • Review and analyse all suppliers, quality, and price options while maintaining transparency of the process.
  • Prepare supplier contarcts and purchase orders and submit for management approval.
  • Source In-Kind donations where possible.

HR:

This position maintains a high degree of confidentiality.

The key role is to manage all staff data including information on contracts and other related data, and support the ED in administering staff benefits, Recruitment, Orientation and performance management.

Recruitment and staffing

  • Draft job descriptions in coordination with the Programs Coordinator and the project managers.
  • Post open vacancies in Lebanon on Daleel Madani and on social media outlets.
  • Handle full-cycle recruitment, from the preparation of the vacancy till the onboarding and orientation plan and implementation; plan proper documentation related to the recruitment.
  • Handle offboarding, including drafting termination letters, exit interviews, and updating employee files.

Administration

  • Ensure accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in physical and digital format.
  • Update HR policies to support the organization’s goals in compliance with Lebanese labor law.
  • Ensures implementation of HR processes.
  • Update the finance department monthly on any staff changes and track monthly timesheets in close collaboration with projects managers.
  • Prepare employees agreements and amendments.
  • Keep track of employees’ leave requests and prepare a monthly sheet of the balances.
  • Prepare any ad-hoc HR report request by the Programs Coordinator and/or the ED.
  • Fill papers related to NSSF registration and cancelation.
  • Ensure reference checks are carried out before sending offers.

Employee relation

  • Send memos as advised by the management.
  • Stay up-to-date with employees’ regular needs and handle employee-related issues, conflicts, inquiries, and work-related concerns.
  • Communicate with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  • Assist in Probation evaluation and appraisal processes.
  • Manage the process of staff performance planning and management and keep supervisors informed of any delays or irregularities.

Other

  • Attend meetings and trainings as advised by the management.
  • Keep track of employees’ trainings and certifications for later reports.
  • Perform other tasks as advised by the management.
  • Field visits to project locations in Lebanon.
