Description: 

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media & Communication Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy and communicate project’s results and achievements in the best way.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  •  Develop high-impact social media content including graphics, videos and other multimedia formats that effectively informs and engages external audiences
  • Collect and analyze social media metrics to gauge reach, engagement and other performance measures for social media posts, accounts and campaign
  • Monitor and moderate comments on social media posts, intervening as appropriate to answer questions and guide the conversation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Make sure that all social media channels are in-line with the same strategy
  • Use social media marketing tools
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Experience in producing, editing and disseminating multimedia content
  •  Proven ability to conceptualize, plan and execute ideas
  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Basic photography skills
  • Flexibility to go on field
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills and team work
  • Excellent command of English
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office essential; Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Premiere Pro an asset)
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communication or relevant field
