Position Summary:
Search is seeking participants to be part of a national roundtable to address the issue of sectarian tensions as a main barrier for religious freedom, through discussing key points and actions related to challenges around freedom of religion and belief (FoRB) in Lebanon.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Attending a certified introduction training on Common Ground Approach to Religious Engagement
- In addition to further training in conflict analysis, dialogue facilitation, the Common Ground Approach to Advocacy etc
- Attend a bi-monthly national roundtable on Freedom of Religion and Belief
- Design and take part in creative advocacy and initiatives for FoRB action and reforms
Required Profile:
- Lebanese living in Lebanon between the ages of 25 and 40 years
- Passionate about creating a safe dialogue environment
- Willing to volunteer and commit 4-6 hours per month for the duration of the project (36 Months)
- Well connected, with good leadership, and communication skills
- Active on FoRB topics (whether you have an initiative, a contribution, been part of a research, etc...)
