With the support of the European Regional Development and Protection Program for Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq (RDPP II); Oxfam and partners Legal Agenda (LA) and Lebanese Observatory for Workers and Employees’ Rights (LOWER) are implementing a project titled “Promotion of decent work and sustainable business development in Bekaa, Lebanon.” In addition, the project will work very closely with My Work, My Rights! Network, an informal group of local Civil Society Organization (CSOs) that work on advancing decent working conditions in Lebanon.

The Livelihoods intern will be based in the employability centers in the North as a member of the Livelihoods department, under the direct supervision of the Career Counselling Officer and will be responsible of conducting socio-economic profiling, baselines/endlines and satisfaction surveys, in addition to providing life skills trainings, and supporting the officer in other related businesses.

The Social Stability and Peacebuilding Specialist will be technically leading the first objective of the project below described, leading the Consortium's Social Stability Working Group (serving as forum within the consortium, composed of relevant consortium partners staff to coordinate and harmonise technical implementation approaches) and oversee all material related to social stability and peacebuilding developed and applied throughout the project, hence providing technical support and consultation when needed.

The CP case management officer will be leading a team of case workers in two areas of intervention, supporting case workers to provide individual case management support for children at harm or at risk of being harmed. This includes street connected and working children, children exposed to physical and emotional violence within or from outside home, children with disabilities being exposed to violence, neglect or abuse, children in contact or in conflict with the law, and children in need for judicial protection.

The focus of HR Assistant is to support in standardized and specialized activities pertaining to recruitment and placement, administration of entitlements, staff development and career development, job classification and/or performance management. Specialized activities pertain to the application of HR regulations, rules and procedures in the context of clear guidelines and procedures where the choice of action is limited and where issues requiring clarification and decision are directed to the relevant HR Business Partner.

Background and objectives of the project

The purpose of this project is to respond to the rapidly deteriorating food security situation of vulnerable people in Lebanon. The main activities of the project are:

Capacity building for farmers to reduce the use of chemicals and adopt sustainable farming methods.

Provide monthly coaching activities for farmers and monitor their field practices.

Create a market for sustainable farmers in Beirut and connect farmers directly to end consumers without the

“middle man” linkage.

Headquartered in Washington DC, USA, and Brussels, Belgium, with field offices in 35 countries, SFCG designs and implements multifaceted, culturally appropriate and conflict-sensitive programs using a diverse range of tools, including media and training, to promote dialogue, increase knowledge and determine a positive shift in behaviors.

The MEAL Manager will lead Anera’s monitoring and evaluation component to improve on-going programs and projects, ensure adequate processes are implemented, tools are used to make proper managerial decision, and promote accountability at all levels of the organization. He/she will ensure the daily management of the MEAL team and will be in charge of conducting regular capacity building trainings related to MEAL.

The Protection Team Leader (TL) has the overall responsibility for managing, supervising and coordinating DRC Protection activities in North Lebanon. The Protection Team Leader (TL) will be responsible for the day-to-day staff management and the management of the protection programming while ensuring quality implementation and donor compliance.
