Steps to Inclusion: Outing Program for Children with Autism
At Zati Lebanon Association, we are committed to empowering children with autism through thoughtfully designed Outing Sessions that foster inclusion, health, and holistic development. Our program is built around creating opportunities for children to thrive in supportive and stimulating environments outside their usual routines.
Program Overview Our Outing Sessions are conducted once a week, providing consistent opportunities for growth and development. These sessions are designed to offer a multi-faceted developmental experience, addressing physical, social, mental, and educational needs. By combining structured activities with moments of exploration and interaction, we aim to enrich the lives of the children while helping them build essential life skills.
Program Highlights Each outing is carefully planned to include a variety of engaging activities such as:
Sports and Physical Activities: Regular sports sessions including team games, outdoor exercises, and arm wrestling, which has become a favorite activity among the children, helping them develop strength, focus, and camaraderie.
Interactive Social Experiences: Group bonding activities, outings to community spaces, and team-building exercises to nurture friendships and improve social interaction.
Sensory and Educational Exploration: Visits to educational or sensory-friendly venues that inspire curiosity, learning, and cognitive stimulation.
Health and Mindfulness Practices: Fun yet calming exercises that promote emotional regulation and mental well-being.
