OBJECTIVES AND RESULTS
UPEL aims through its programs to support and strengthen child protection systems on a local level. It also provides the opportunities for technical support and training for workers who are activists in the child protection sector
For this aim UPEL is seeking proposals from competent Consultants specialized in the field Psychology, Social Science, Humanitarian and Child protection related fields to design develop PSS Strategy, tools and frame work for the organization.
Scope of work:
- provide technical advice and training to the PSS program and to develop related guidance.
- Identify training and development needs for the workers, through job analysis.
- Develop effective induction programs.
- Designing PSS training strategy and training tools for the organization.
- Training on program Budget development and follow up on training sessions.
- Training on PSS audit best practices and used of tools.
- Training Resource Information Management and Development.
- Training technical timely reports.
- Training on proposal development in relation to case management
Final Report
At the end of the training (within the period of 1 week) the consultant is committed to provide a final report including a written update of the evaluation, listing completed activities.
Consultancy Duration
The consultancy Period will take place between January 31 & March 1, 2022 .
A total amount of 24 sessions will be held.
Skills:
- Extensive work experience and proven record in development Strategies & tools
- Demonstrate experience of having undertaken similar assignments
- Proven experience in psychosocial support in child protection or GBV
- Advanced degree in Psychology, Social Science, International Development or Affairs,
- Proven communication and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated experience in capacity development, mentoring and staff development.
- Strong understanding of humanitarian protection principles and standards
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic are required;
