DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct qualitative research such as key informant interviews, focus groups and desk reviews. 
  • Perform analysis of manipulated quantitative data and integrate findings with qualitative research outputs.
  • Support Triangle directors and/or team leaders and Triangle’s analysis team in research analysis and writing reports.
  • Aid the Triangle business development team with proposal conceptualization and write-ups.
  • Assist Triangle directors, team leaders, and business development team in conceptualizing methodological frameworks, implementation strategies, and project coordination.
  • Maintain project files, tracking and related documentation against project workplans.
  • Participate in meetings with partners and monitor project progress through minute sheets, Gantt Chart tracking, and coordination with field officers.
  • Communicate via Skype, email and phone with field staff, consultants and local partners.

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience. A probation period of three to six months is applicable. 

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters degree in economics, public policy, political science, international development, journalism or related field.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience as a collaborative and constructive team member
  • High emotional intelligence, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proven quantitative analysis skills and ability to conduct data manipulation to produce cross-tabulations, regressions, and bi-variate analysis.
  • Over five years of corporate or UN/NGO experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research and reporting.
  • Experience compiling workplans, drafting proposals, and managing international grants highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • High-level proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience conducting quantitative data manipulation using various platforms.
  • Track record of published research outputs and client-facing experience.
  • Working knowledge and proficiency in Arabic.
