Area Coordinator

The recruitment is on rolling basis and the organization reserve the right to recruit the suitable person before the deadline
Objective 1: In coordination with the Field Coordinators and Project Managers, supports in the development of activity plans for Centre and Community-Based activities;
- Supports the Field Coordinators and Project Manager in the definition of need of each area/project and prepare a detailed forecast;
- In collaboration with the field staff, Field Coordinators and relevant technical officers, supports the Outreach Worker(s) in identifying the project beneficiaries, setting up waiting lists as necessary and update the map of services provided in the areas;
- Supervises the collection of child forms (assessment/baseline survey, CPA/CPF and registration form), their placement and follow up tests, attendance record, and other information related to the program activities;
- Monitors field assessments including vulnerability and needs assessments;
- Actively coordinates between the field, programs and technical teams, to ensure an open flow of information and collaborative approaches to problem-solving;
Objective 2: Oversees the implementation of all program activities in the area of focus, ensuring that activities are carried out timely and in accordance with TDH and donor requirements
- Monitors the implementation of education and child protection activities through regular field visits, identifying problems and necessary corrective actions in coordination with the relevant Field Coordinator;
- Ensures that all involved staff are aware of targets and activity plans
Objective 3: Supports coordination at field level with logistics, procurement, finance and HR staff to ensure that the activity needs are met.
Objective 4: Coordinates with the M&E team and Field Coordinator to ensure the correct application of monitoring and accountability systems at field level.
Objective 5: Acts as the focal point for municipalities and CBO partners in the area of intervention.
Objective 6: Supports in the recruitment of staff for field positions.
Objective 7: Management of the team
- Participates in the recruitment of the team members when required;
- Designs individual yearly / program TOR and objectives for each direct report and follows up throughout the year / program via formal and informal individual meeting;
- Organizes team meeting when needed:
- Responsible of the appraisal process for the team.
Objective 8: Reports, Capitalization and Communication
- Submit monthly reports to the relevant Field Coordinators regarding project progress and changes to the local area context;
- Support the center coordinator(s), team leaders and community facilitators in their communication within the local community and stakeholders;
