Terre des hommes- Lausanne is seeking an HR intern for its Beirut office for a period of 2 months

The HR intern will support the HR department in matters related to recruitment, following Tdh internal practices for HR recruitment policies and procedures.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support in preparing announcements for open vacancies
  • Shortlisting and screening applications
  • Ensure proper tracking system for applicants
  • Communicate with applicants for tests and interviews
  • Support in scheduling interviews for successful candidates with the hiring managers and HR.
  • Support in the Reference Checking process for finalist candidates and secure completion of all required background checks with HQ
  • Support in preparing and sharing offers
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all HR/recruitment data

Job qualifications, and competencies

Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or equivalent.

Experience: experience not required, however earlier internships or up to 1 year’ experience are of added value.

Others personal abilities:

  • Fluency in English and Arabic are mandatory. Very good written skills in English is a must.
  • Time management skills, ability to meet deadlines, prioritization of tasks.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • People oriented.
  • Flexibility and strong adaptation skills.
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft office.

Location:  Beirut/Achrafieh Office.
