Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified GBV PSS Facilitator based in Tyre or surroundings for one of its projects in the South.

 

Job Purpose / Main Functions:

The Psychosocial Support activities Facilitator has the knowledge and practical skills to carry out psychosocial and recreational support GBV activities with children and youth at high risk of vulnerability in Female Safe Space/Female Friendly Space and Boys’ Clubs. The PSS activities will be carried out in line with individual organization and interagency guidelines. The intention of this position is to build the resilience of most vulnerable children and youth through psychosocial support activities and raise their awareness regarding CP/GBV concerns. The PSS facilitator implements the activities in a manner that leaves considerable positive impact on children and youth and promote their wellbeing

 

Aim of position:

 Develop and implement age and gender appropriate psychosocial and recreational activities for children and youth.

 Strengthen and imporve the resilience and wellbeing of children at risk.

 Ensure that parents and caregivers receive frequent feedback about their child’s participation during the sessions.

 Work directly with CP and GBV team members in order to develop intervention, plans and follow up.

 Ensure that the children/youth feel safe, comfortable and respected all the time.
