Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified CP FPSS Facilitator based in Tyre or surroundings for one of its projects in the South.
Job Purpose/ Main Functions:
The focused Psychosocial Support Facilitator has the knowledge and practical skills to carry out focused psychosocial support activities with children at high CP risk. Focused PSS activities will be carried out in line with individual organization and interagency guidelines.This position intends to build the resilience of the most vulnerable children and youth through psychosocial support activities. The FPSS facilitator implements the activities in a manner that leaves a considerable positive impact on children and youth and promotes their well-being.
Aims of the position are to:
Develop and implement age-appropriate psychosocial activities for children and youth.
Strengthening and improving the resilience and well-being of children at risk.
Ensure that all beneficiaries participate in activities that are non-discriminatory as well as age and gender sensitive and appropriate.
Ensure that parents and caregivers receive frequent feedback about their child’s participation during the sessions.
Work directly with CP team members to develop interventions, plans, and follow-up.
Monitor and supervise the volunteer team to plan, implement, and organize the sessions.
Ensure that the children/youth feel safe, comfortable, and respected all the time.
