INVITATION TO BID - CIVIL WORKS-SOS CHILDREN'S VILLAGES LEBANON-BHERSAF VILLAGE

SOS Children's Villages Lebanon aims in this invitation to bid file to execute “civil works” at the SOS Children’s Village Bhersaf - Metn.

Required documents:

The bidder shall provide the following documents (SOS might request additional documents):

  1. Registration Certificate of the company
  2. Registration in the ministry of finance
  3. VAT registration certificate
  4. Company profile
  5. Similar list of executed projects (a minimum of three projects)
  6. Organization Chart reflecting the structure of the team who will be assigned to implement and monitor the required works and services
  7. Time schedule 
  8. Material data sheets and samples
  9. Health and safety plan 
  10. All required insurance 

 

 Special conditions:

 

  1. The bidder must conduct a site visit in order to verify the quantities and details (site visit is mandatory).  The proposal of a contractor who did not conduct a site visit will be rejected. The site visit will be conducted on December 27th2023. 
  2. Electricity and water during working hours are to be provided by the contractor including water for waterproofing testing.
  3. Material technical data sheets should be submitted.
  4. Material lifting and handling onsite are to be conducted by the general contractor.
  5. Re-measured contract, payments are to be based on the actual executed quantities onsite.
  6. Rerouting of electro-mechanical connections, in order to conduct waterproofing works is to be conducted by the general contractor.
  7. All debris and resulting material are to be removed away from site by the general contractor.
  8. All paint patterns at the external facades including and not limited to SOS logo, etc. must be restored by the general contractor.

Warranty:

Five years warranty for the executed works.               
During the tendering phase, the contractor will have to submit a signed and stamped letter stating that the contractor will provide the required warranty if awarded.

Terms of payment:

Terms of Payment shall be as detailed below after receipt of goods, works and/or services, submission of payment documentation, and SOS approval on completed work.

  1. Advance payment equal to 30% of contract amount.
  2. 60% of contract amount after completion and handing over of works.
  3. Remaining amount to be paid after six months of completion of works.

The VAT amount will be paid in LBP at the official rate of 85,500 LBP for each USD.

SOS reserves the right to terminate the contract without any extra cost induced on SOS.

All bids must be submitted in sealed envelope showing the project name, bidder’s name, phone number and email to the following address:

Beirut, Sin El Fil, Monseigneur Shebli Street, SOS building, 3rd floor. Note that all pages should be stamped and signed.
