Community Mobilizer

The Community Mobilizer is responsible for outreach and identification of targeted beneficiaries for different programs and specialized services. The Community Mobilizer will be the focal point for coordination between the programmatic team and the Outreach Volunteers in the field. Other tasks also include delivering awareness sessions on education to adolescent and adults promoting a community based approach while involving community members and community groups in organizing awareness activities. 

General Duties and responsibilities:

-       Follow up and coordinate with Outreach Volunteers and programmatic team to ensure proper project implementation. 
-       prepare and organise all logistic aspects for the roll out and implementation of field programs;
-       prepare a weekly and monthly work plan for activities;
-       ensure weekly and monthly reports on the progress of project implementation.

- Support Education Supervisors and Program Manager on all activities.

Qualifications:
-       1 to 2 years work experience in implementing mobilization activities;
-       minimum of one year of relevant NGO/INGO experience;
-       experience in dealing with volunteers and local authorities;
-       ability to work independently while being member of a team and working under pressure;
-       ability and willingness to travel to project areas and spend extended periods with communities and volunteers
-       experience in managing team and in conducting basic administrative tasks;
-       good Knowledge of English and experience in reporting; 
-       strong organizational skills;
-       strong interpersonal skill and communication skills;
-       Good knowledge word and excel;
-    Driving license holder preferred.
