Sharekkna is an NGO that provides awareness and advocacy services. It offers a broad platform for CSOs, NGOs, Startups, & specialists, where they can share 60-second videos about their work to show their social impact. Sharekkna MENA has 2 main objectives: To spread verified knowledge & to share the social impact of organizations so that stakeholders can watch. Real social change occurs when organizations and specialists go outside their own walls and find creative ways to show the social impact that they are doing to create sustainable communities and fascinate donors.

Job Overview

Sharekkna MENA is looking for an intern who has knowledge in TikTok to create videos for CSOs, NGOs, startups, and specialists on board and show their work through inspirational content.

We're looking for a truly passionate TikTok creator who can take ownership of posting compelling TikTok content and who is comfortable writing unique captions, finding trending hashtags and utilizing the best methods that attract engagement.

Major responsibilities:

• Plan and create engaging TikTok content to be posted on Sharekkna MENA.
• Monitor analytics after posting to identify areas of success and see where improvement is needed.
• Plan to increase reach.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience creating in TikTok.
• Strong knowledge of non-profit.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A sense of organization.
• An understanding of what works on social media.
• Ability to work well as an individual.
• Strong time management skills.
• Creative thinking.
• Effective communicator.
• Excellent writing skills.

This internship is within the External Relations and Communications Section of Sharekkna. The intern reports directly to the Internship program.

Sharekkna Internship is done usually over 30 consecutive days. The intern will have a target to achieve at the end of every internship with a final report submitted to track and follow up on the work done. This may be exceptionally extended for a maximum period of two months. The internship certificate is awarded on the recommendation of the direct supervisor.

Interns are not financially remunerated because Sharekkna is a free service for community awareness. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions. Sharekkna accepts no responsibility for the medical insurance of the intern or costs arising from injury, illness, or death that may occur during an internship.
