SEARCH FOR COMMON GROUND (SFCG) is a Non-Governmental Organization with offices in Beirut, Lebanon working to transform the way societies deal with conflicts. We have acquired over 30 years of experience in peacebuilding and are based in 53 local offices worldwide. SFCG first worked in Lebanon in 1996, and we opened up our office here in 2008. The issues we address are multiple, such as conflicts arising within Lebanon's diverse society, tensions resulting from the increasing influx of Syrian refugees, security sector reform, as well as women’s socio-economic empowerment. In each project we seek to engage all stakeholders and strengthen local capacities in order to create sustainable change and increase social cohesion.

SFCG-Lebanon is implementing the “Better Together” project which aims to strengthen the Security Sector Reform process in Lebanon through enhancing the relation between the Internal Security Forces and the surrounding community in Ras Beirut. The main goal of this pilot project is to support regular and sustainable collaboration between the ISF officers and the Ras Beirut citizens to promote security in their community.

Search for Common Ground Lebanon (SFCG) seeks a consultancy to:

Produce a series of four short animated videos in spoken Lebanese (with English subtitles) that aim to promote the shared responsibility between the ISF and the community in Ras Beirut to have a safer and more secure neighborhood. Infographic for a short animated movie that highlights the project’s activities. Graphic Illustration for six short series in both English and Arabic that depict community policing in Ras Beirut.
SFCG Lebanon invites all interested and qualified candidates to submit a resume/prtfolio, and a letter of interest, clearly explaining how their experience meets desired qualifications in order to receive the full Term of reference (ToR) based on which the consultant is required to submit a full proposal by Tuesday 7 July 2015.
