Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist the child protection officers in the implementation of child protection activities through co-facilitation during psychosocial support sessions.
- Presence, decoration and organization of community centers and child friendly spaces
- Support in the recruitment of children and caregivers through outreach activities, door to door and field visits.
- Conduct satisfaction surveys and other monitoring and evaluation tools with beneficiaries.
- Prepare and conduct recreational and community based activities with children, adolescents and caregivers.
- Take care of children during trainings and other activities that involve caregivers and delivering recreational and educational activities to them such as games, songs, handcrafts, storytelling, …etc.
- Participate in the distribution of kits to beneficiaries in the center and in the community
- Participate in the organization and delivery of community events and special days with children
- Assist in the delivery of awareness sessions on child protection topics
- Collect information about beneficiaries attending the sessions and fill out databases
- Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors
- Attend trainings and regular team meetings.
