1. OVERVIEW

Under the Livelihood and Social Cohesion portfolio, Safadi Foundation (SF) is seeking a company/service provider/organization to Develop up to 15 Vocational Training Curricula courses for trainees in the following 5 of the fields

1. Food sector

•          Food innovation

•          Nutrition

•          Food packaging

•          Quality food preparation (Good manufacturing practices, good hygiene practices), Optional (sanitary transport of foods)

1. Crafts

•          Design / creativity

•          2D / 3D

•          Applied Carpentry Fundamentals

1. Renovation

•          Renovation Fundamentals

•          Blueprint Reading Fundamentals

•          Renewable energy solutions, Door and window installer /construction framer, Project management for renovation projects

1. Furniture

•          Design / CAD Drafting

•          Maintenance

•          Carpentry fundamentals

•          Finish Carpentry Fundamentals

•          Construction engineering technology

•          Environmental design, Kitchen Design

1. ICT

•          UX/ UI, Software Development Cycle Practice,

•          Content Development, Introduction to Big data,

•          Introduction to Artificial intelligence

The curriculum shall be designed to cover 100 hours of training sessions and shall be applicable to host 15 participants per class.

1. PURPOSE OF THIS CALL

Safadi Foundation with the support and experience of the Economic Empowerment unit team referring to the results of the rapid assessment will be recruiting an expert to draft 15 curriculums for 15 traditional businesses targeted in the project. The curriculums will fulfill the identified skills gaps revealed through the conducted assessment in each field.

1. KEY CONSIDERATIONS

This call is opened to qualified, nationally based companies or individuals, fulfilling the pre-selection criteria defined below:

• If a company: Should be Registered under the Lebanese rules and regulations
• If an individual: Should have a Ministry of Finance registration number
• Only those with a strong, proven track record of performance and quality in this field are encouraged to participate.
• Should be able to provide consultancy services within the area of Tripoli
