Purpose of this ToR

Upon completion of the business proposal applications selection, WATAD is about to enter the training phase. The project is in need of a training team that can undertake the training for batch 1 and batch 2 applicants.

Challenges

The challenges which might be faced during the training period relate mostly to the situation in Lebanon (potential protests, road blocks, financial volatility) and any instability that might arise because of it. Additionally, Covid-19 numbers are on the rise in the country with the possibility of an imposed lockdown in the future. Any of the abovementioned problems could result in a transferring of the whole training, or parts of it, online. As for the training itself, the challenge would be conducting trainings for batch 1 and batch 2 simultaneously, or cross-training, which would take place from mid-January till mid-April 2021.

Deliverables

The purpose of this ToR is to provide the following services:

  • Curriculum for the live (physical) and the online (virtual) training.
  • Capacity building for 25 young scholars (they will join the Batch 1 training)
  • Basic trainings, Acceleration Program and Design Thinking Trainings based on the tables below.
  • Pre and posttest for the participants.
  • Reports for each session including photos.
  • An evaluation scale for each beneficiary measuring his improvement and evaluating his work. The evaluation scale will need to accompany the 1:1 session report and the final report.
  • An attendance sheet for each session.
  • Review each beneficiary’s final business plan, feasibility study and official quotation. Attach them with the final report on each beneficiary.
