The Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking a “Field Coordinator” for its USAID-funded “Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods- PSL” Activity. The PSL is implemented over the course of 5 years (ending September 2025) and aims to improve the livelihoods of residents of target municipalities through training, technical assistance, infrastructure rehabilitation, and marketing and improve and upgrade existing assets in their municipalities. The PSL goal is to sustain the livelihoods of 28,350 households across 7 clusters joining 134 municipalities in the Baalback El-Hermel, North, Bekaa, South and Mount Lebanon areas (first phase). 

 

Position Summary:

The field coordinator will be responsible of the day-to-day field operations of RMF PSL interventions, which will be implemented in the Mount Lebanon cluster.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Facilitate and take part of implementation of project activities in targeted areas.
  • Summarize, evaluate and update on a regular basis the activities in accordance with the established planning schedules.
  • Maintain regular contact with Municipalities and other local partners.
  • Liaise with other organizations, if needed.
  • Determine any changes to the plan and report to the Operation Manager.
  • Contribute to the monthly activities report.
  • Coordinate with municipalities and other relevant stakeholders
  • Assist in collecting all needed data.
  • Identify and report success stories.

Qualifications & Professional skills:

  • Should be holder of a Lebanese Baccalaureate degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience or Bachelor degree with 2 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Experience in NGOs field operations, preferably on USAID projects.
  • Should possess a car or other means of transportation.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Possess analytical approach.
  • Possesses organizational skills/ Energetic and tenacious.
