Capacity Building Expert
The Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking the consultancy services of a capacity building expert supported by RDPP Lebanon in partnership with Plan International.
The goal of the one of the projects that RMF is currently implementing is to target vulnerable populations at risk, or prone to irregular migration. That said, RMF will be using several means for targeting these populations ranging from door-to-door outreach, info sessions, coordination with active humanitarian coordination groups, meetings with mayors, municipalities in the targeted areas, youth groups, and community stakeholders and influencers.
And one of the project activities is, to provide trainings to community focal points and influencers in order to strengthen their capacities, so they can contribute in responding to the irregular migration in their community.
The trainings will take place in North Lebanon.
Methodology and Procedure:
The trainer should:
• Use a highly interactive training methodology and assure a wide involvement from the trainees;
• Secure the training materials;
• Deliver the training related materials in Arabic;
• Draft report on the conducted training;
• Trainer should be using a pre/posttest in order to evaluate the training efficiency.
Competences:
• University degree in social work or psychology; and at least 5 years of professional work experience in delivery of trainings related to protection safe identification and referrals , or another relevant experience;
• Excellent Facilitation Skills;
• Relevant expertise in curriculum and manual development in Psychosocial Support PSS;
• Two references (including telephone numbers) and web links (pictures and videos) to his/her previous work, if available.
