Awareness Raising Counsellor for Employers

The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking to recruit a “Awareness raising Counsellor for Employers” for “Alternatives to Combat Exploitive Child Labour through Empowerment and Sustainable Services – ACCESS-Lebanon” Project supported by RDPP Lebanon in partnership with Plan International.

 

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Provide awareness raising sessions to employers hosting trained adolescents on decent work conditions, the concept of hazardous work, the risk of dangers and injuries, gender and inclusion, Lebanese labour law and conventions 182 & 193, safeguarding children and PSHEA, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH);
  • Attend training and capacity building opportunities;
  • Plan and prepare logistics for awareness raising sessions;
  • Full coordination with the line manager to ensure proper implementation of the sessions;
  • Ensure activities run in a timely manner to ensure the successful implementation of the project;
  • Collect data on the activities organized and ensure that all the relevant forms are duly filled;
  • Ensure all project means of verifications (MOV) including attendance sheets, pre posttests, evaluation documents… are in place.
  • Fill and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness.

 

Professional Standards:

All RMF staff are required to adhere to the RMF policies and practices with respect to child protection minimum standards, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of relevant professional experience as awareness raising Counsellor;
  • Candidates must have skills in working with employers;
  • High integrity in social interactions;
  • Knowledge of Child Protection/GBV, life skills, and parenting programs; and
  • Knowledge on how to communicate with vulnerable population groups, such as women, children, youth, elderly, disabled and refugees

 

Period of Employment: 15 sessions ranging between 1 June 2025 – 31 March 2026

Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Education Degree: Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences or any other relevant field.
