TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program implementation/Management
Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities, including lessons, workshops, and other programs.
Conduct physical and/or remote educational sessions for students on a regular basis.
Mentor and provide guidance to students as needed.
Assist in the preparation of educational materials, such as lesson plans, handouts, and visual aids.
Assist in data collection and data entry regarding beneficiary and community needs.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Assist in the outreach and assessment process.
Assist in the distribution of learning materials.
Ensure all required pre and post tests are conducted.
Conduct Awareness session for caregivers.
Follow up, track and report on the referral of children.
Assist in field visit (Collective Shelters).
Report on challenges encountered, good practices and recommendations for the program.
Collaborate with other volunteers and staff members to ensure the smooth running of educational programs.
Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
Adhere to the organization's policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with children or youth in an educational or community-based setting.
Experience in planning, organizing, and delivering educational programs or activities (in-person and remote) that align with the needs and abilities of different age groups.
Prior experience in NGOs or social organizations focusing on education, child development, or community engagement is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse groups of children, including those from vulnerable or underserved backgrounds.
Experience in collaborating with parents, educators, and other stakeholders to enhance learning outcomes.
Familiarity with creating and maintaining student records and reports using digital tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
A minimum of a high school diploma, preferable to have a technical or bachelor’s degree in education or any other relevant field.
Experience working with children in an educational center.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Strong digital skills in the use of Excel and Word.
Ability to plan and deliver physical and remote educational activities effectively.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students achieve their full potential.
