About the job

Peace of Art is looking to hire a professional Word Press full stack web-development freelancer to lead the design and development of a new website for Peace of Art organization. The developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of Word Press themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare everything related to Peace of Art’s website.
  • Install themes, plugins and deploy extensions.

  • Include payment integration with libraries & development on Word Press.

  • Integrate data from the already built website for Peace of Art.

  • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling Peace of Art's site.

  • Work cross-functionally to enhance the overall user experience of our platforms.

  • Improve a user friendly publishing, blogging and posting experience for the team.

  • Revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content.

  • Building a completely custom Word Press theme based on Peace of Art's work culture, needs and requirments.

  • Building a responsive website.

  • Implementing the best practices for website accessibility.

  • Build strong security measures for the website.

  • Making sure the website is mobile-friendly.

  • Ensuring flexibility to change and adapt code, designs and function at any point of the development.

 

The developer must:

  • Be proficient with all aspects of Word Press.
  • Be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and web-development frameworks and plug-ins.
  • Have at least five years of experience in building custom websites.
  • Have experience with integrating secure payment.
  • Be proficient with all latest trends in web development for front-end and back-end.
  • Be able to change and adapt designs and codes upon request at any point of the process.
  • Be proficient with all security practices and able to protect website against any potential risks.
