IDEALAB- Call for Expert: Tech Support Clinics

Park Innovation is a mission-driven organization focused on innovation, combining a community project, coworking space, tech hub, and business accelerator to promote community development. With over six years of active engagement, Park Innovation offers unique programs and resources to empower youth and women, with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and employability.

The initiatives at Park Innovation align with two core pillars:

  1. Entrepreneurship: fostering innovation and empowering startups through tailored support, mentorship, and access to resources that enable sustainable business growth.

  2. Employability and Employment: bridging the gap between education and employment by equipping youth with essential, market-relevant skills and practical experiences to thrive in a competitive workforce.

For the fourth batch, Park Innovation is implementing Idea Lab in South Mount Lebanon, a 10-week entrepreneurship support program across Lebanon. The program provides the proper technical, financial, and business support needed for entrepreneurs to validate their solutions and turn their ideas into businesses. Entrepreneurs in Tech Support sectors will learn to identify problems, validate solutions in the market, use the $1500 grant to build their first prototype, and create strong teams capable of scaling their startups.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled mentor to guide the 10 startups through the Tech Support Clinics, providing expert advice and hands-on support as they integrate technology into their processes. The mentor will work closely with startups to help them understand how to select the right technology, integrate it into their operations, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the integration phase. This guidance will help the startups develop scalable and sustainable solutions that optimize their tech usage and business operations.

Scope of Services

The expert will lead a series of VIRTUAL (online) Tech Support Clinics, with one hour dedicated to each startup. There will be 10 clinic sessions, followed by a follow-up meeting for each startup to provide further support.

Key areas to be covered:

  • Identifying the appropriate tools, platforms, and technologies to meet the startup’s needs.

  • Ensuring the chosen technologies work seamlessly across different systems.

  • Identifying and addressing issues during the integration process to ensure smooth operations.

  • Ensuring that the technology is used effectively to scale and streamline operations.

  • Advising startups on how to address security and privacy concerns during technology integration.

  • Helping startups choose cloud platforms and tools that align with their business objectives.

  • Guiding startups on managing and monitoring systems for long-term efficiency and scalability.
