The Lebanon Program Coordinator is responsible for representing the face and visibility of the organization on a local level, identifying and managing medical cases for treatment locally and abroad, organizing and coordinating volunteer non-surgical missions and projects, running the PCRF sponsorship programs in Lebanon, and ensuring a high level of professionalism and transparency in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for supporting local staff, offices and budgets and communicating with PCRF Management in HQ.

Field Responsibilities
Identifying Medical Cases in need of Treatment
Networking in assigned region including:
Communicating the role and activities of the PCRF on a continuous basis by phone, email and other mediums to all public and private doctors, hospital administrators, local and international NGOs, charities, women’s organizations and local governments who deal with health care for children and sub-specialties
Managing all data for medical cases identified for treatment including entry in patient database
Submitting complete files to be considered for sponsorship and support
Communicating in a clear and professional manner all social issues with the families of children we are serving
Managing documents for cases being considered for treatment outside of the country
Coordinating and leading non- surgical Medical Missions including liaising with patients’ families, hospital staff and mission volunteers before and during missions and all necessary follow up
Projects Responsibilities
Identifying local needs and developing and implementing projects to meet each need.
Identifying recipients of individual support for ongoing humanitarian projects (eyeglasses, wheelchairs, medicine, etc.)
Ensuring that recipients are medically and economically deserving and are not recipients of past support
Create, implement and monitor development programs and introduce solutions
Handicapped Child Sponsorship Responsibilities
Monitoring monthly needs of assigned sponsored children with the Field Team and following up as necessary.
Identifying children in need of monthly (when applicable) or one-time sponsorship
Administrative Responsibilities
Managing area staff with regard to field work and reporting
Providing constructive feedback to area staff and participate in their appraisals
Communicating with management and other PCRF staff as needed
Managing office budget and operations
Maintaining patient records as required
Providing professional reports to management as needed
Submitting detailed daily reports of cases visited and other ongoing projects to line manager
Ensure the PCRF policies and procedures are adhered to
Submit periodic activity, status and summary reports to the director
Ensure a good flow of information within the group
Conduct and organize periodic meetings with the staff in Lebanon

Minimum Skill Requirements
BA in Public Health, Social Work or related field
Minimum 3 years’ experience
Experience in working with health groups, institutions, preferable
Fluency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Apps
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
Arabic and English Fluency (written & verbal)
