Leadership Skills Training

Oxfam in Lebanon responds at local, national and international levels to “ensure women and men are protected and empowered to enjoy their basic rights and access services enabling them to live in dignity, within a more equitable society.” To achieve this vision, Oxfam in Lebanon is currently implementing humanitarian and economic justice and governance programmes across the country.

Oxfam, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA), and Utopia, has been implementing the Temporary Cash Assistance programme (TCA) since 2016 in Tripoli. The programme provides cash assistance for four months and social service referrals to vulnerable Lebanese and Syrian refugee households coping with a socio-economic shock. The TCA project works with existing government social protection systems to provide cash assistance to Lebanese households through Social Development Centres (SDCs) and the National Poverty Targeting Programme (NPTP).
