Job Purpose: The main key function of the Project Manager is to ensure the efficient management of financial, human, and logistical resources within the organization.
Main Key areas of responsibility:
Coordinate the implementation of the various projects and activities under OWO
Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc...) required to complete the project
Create a detailed work-plan that identifies and sequences activities to successfully complete projects.
Serve as liaison with cross-divisional team members to ensure productive and efficient cooperation among the operational units.
Monitor and Evaluate activities under each project by setting indicators related to set objectives
Ensure the cost-effective use of available resources for the implementation of the various projects
Collaborate closely with the President on developing new initiatives and special projects.
Set up of an activity performance reporting system from the different operational units.
Plan quarterly operational meetings involving head of operational units.
Identify prospect funders, develop, write, review and submit grant proposals and reports in coordination with the President.
Human Resource Management
Support development staff in the planning of annual giving campaigns.
Assessment of staff performance revisiting work scope and key responsibilities.
Organize a team building event once a year.
Contribute partially to the preparation of an Annual Report for the organization.
Compile narrative and financial progress reports and other relevant documents
