ABOUT CAMEALON

CAMEALEON is an NGO-led network, co-managed by the Norwegian Refugee Council (grant holder), Oxfam and Solidarités International. The purpose of CAMEALEON’s work is to conduct independent research and analysis in support of the World Food Programme’s multi-purpose cash programme for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, as well as a contribution to wider cash-related learning. CAMEALEON’s partners include the American University of Beirut (AUB), Economic Development Solutions (EDS), Ground Truth Solutions (GTS), the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) and the Cash Learning Partnership (CaLP).

The current CAMEALEON project runs until March 2022 and is being funded by a consortium of donors; the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the EU Madad Trust Fund, the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA). The project is governed by a Steering Committee, comprised of the donors and WFP.

SERVICE PROVISION OVERVIEW

NRC is requesting competitive proposals from qualified service providers, interested in engaging in a participatory Videography/Photo Service Provision with NRC Lebanon for the CAMEALEON programme.

The primary objective is to recruit a videographer/photographer who can design a participatory project with Syrian refugees to support them to document their experiences of receiving humanitarian cash assistance. The key deliverables are to produce a 5 to 10-minute video about the participatory project, and a portfolio of photos taken by the participants. The videographer/photographer would be requested to design and deliver the project, including providing photographic training for participants and to work with the CAMEALEON team on the dissemination plan

1. 2. Closing date for requesting the bid documents is 28 February 2021 at 16:00 (24hrs) Beirut Time. All requests after that date will not be considered. Interested bidders are encouraged to request the bid documents early to allow sufficient time to prepare their submission in accordance with requirements.

 

SUBMISSION PROCESS

All interested and eligible firms are requested to submit their offers in person and not by email in a sealed envelope to NRC Beirut Office, 10thflr. Weavers Center, Clemenceau, Beirut, Lebanon.

Closing date for submitting the tender is 01 March 2021 at 14:00 (24hrs) Beirut Time. All bids submitted after that date will be rejected.
