Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2-3 years of experience as an HR Assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position within national or international NGO in Lebanon
- Fluency in Arabi and very good English language
- Computer skills (MS Office, in particular)
- Basic knowledge of labor laws (including NSSF, income tax, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communications skills
- Calm in stressful situations and ability to work under pressure
- Respect and abide by rules which govern NPA staff
- High respect to NPA ethical guidelines
HR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support
- Assist in the recruitment process
- Assist in staff screening on WatchDog
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Upload HR documents on SharePoint upon the request of the line manager
- Assist in payroll preparation
- Assist in Payslips distribution
- Assist in tracking banks slips related to staff salaries
- Assist in responding to employees’ requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in keeping updated tracking sheets for staff leaves, safeguarding, project allocation in timesheets, etc.
- Issue staff IDs when requested
- Prepare and provide staff with employment certificates (employment, experience, NSSF, etc.) when requested
- Assist in responding to internal and external (controllers, auditors, etc.) requests and provide information when needed
- Cooperate with the Log/Admin Officer in Arsal on HR assigned tasks
- Cooperate with Log officer in Tyr on HR assigned tasks.
- Represent NPA in external HR related meetings/conferences
Perform other tasks when requested
ADMIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
- Organize travel arrangements, residencies, rent contracts, and government letters
- Book conference calls, rooms, taxis, couriers, hotels, etc.
