Our work on protection for the less fortunate goes well back in time. With the establishment of the Service Center for the Homeless in 1962, our Street Children Project was launched, aiming at removing 1,500 children from the streets and sending them back home to their parents after rehabilitation.
This project remained active for 12 years until 1974, before being developed into a preventive club for boys and juveniles in the Bourj Hammoud Mouvement Social center.
Moving forward, we built on our significant hands-on expertise in the field to launch in 2014 our specialized Child Protection program.
