send CV to info@mousawat.org
An SRH/GBV socail worker focuses on addressing sexual and reproductive health needs and preventing and responding to gender-based violence. In projects targeting conflict-affected and vulnerable populations, especially women and adolescent girls with disabilities, they ensure access to essential SRH services, including maternal care, family planning, and sexual health education. They design and implement GBV prevention and response programs, offering psychosocial support, case management, and referrals for legal or medical aid to survivors. Additionally, they train service providers and community members to recognize and address GBV, reduce stigma, and advocate for gender equality, ensuring that interventions are inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. Their work is crucial in promoting safety, dignity, and empowerment in fragile settings.
