Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate awareness sessions and PSS Activities, engaging children with protection issues.
  • Engage in ESG and peer to peer sessions for the capacity building and empowerment of GBV refugees (including information on services and different topics)
  • Regular meetings to mobilize communities against all protection issues (CP-SGBV-PWSN sections)
  • Assist CP-GBV-PWSN staff when conducting their on-site activities
  • Assist the Senior PSS GBV officer in conducting the awareness sessions and the PSS activities, parallel to conducting life skills sessions, or handicrafts sessions and art therapy to PWSN community groups
  • Organize and implement the community based activities
  • Coordinate registration and follow up with beneficiaries that are engaging in skills training and life-skills activities
  • Work on the internship program described across CP, SGBV & PWSN
  • Work alongside the CP team in terms of coordinating groups and activities run by the team
  • Coordinate with CP OVs for finding a location and conducting awareness sessions and PSS activities
  • Implement the Focal Point for Youth Initiative (organize and implement PSS activities, prepare the capacity building plan of the year, conduct meetings to discuss the needs of Youth, etc.
  • Implement Focal Point for 10 community Groups and 2 Solidarity Initiative Projects
  • Prepare attendance sheet for CP beneficiaries (and other sections) and invitations
  • Contact the beneficiaries in the living areas
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for all activities related to CP,GBV and PWSN sections (when applicable)
  • Prepare monthly schedule, CDC schedule, attendance sheets, and other related tasks
  • Refer beneficiaries to the Case Management Department
  • Conduct focus group discussions with beneficiaries especially by the beginning of each year to specify their need and prepare a work plan for the whole year
  • Contact new community based organizations to coordinate and get safe space for PSS activities like Tahaddi, Aman, Terre des Hommes, and beneficiaries homes
  • Create, organize and conduct events activities for the CP department
