DOCUMENTING WGDP LEBANON PROJECT ACTIVITIES & IMPACT

 

Specific Requirements for Candidates:

1. Knowledge and experience in USAID branding and marking policy and strategy.

2. Outstanding similar ongoing USAID programs experience.

3. At Least 4 to 5 years of extensive experience on similar USAID Programs.

 

SUMMARY OF DELIVERABLES

The consultant will capture, through photos and film, key events and activities from Lutheran World Relief’s (LWR) WGDP: Expanding Women’s Labor Force in Lebanon project, which is funded by the U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID). In April and May 2023, the consultant will accompany LWR as a videographer to support in capturing the project participants’ business exhibition as well as ongoing project activities and interviews with select project participants. During this week, the consultant will also serve as Arabic – English translator for the participants and other individuals contributing to the videos, and therefore must be fluent in both languages. The consultant will have an online meeting with them and the project team to plan the filming of the videos.

 

All content collected – video, photographic, written – becomes the property of Corus following production with unlimited permission granted to the consultant for promotional and other use.

 

CONTENT PLANNING AND COLLABORATION

The project team will explain what is to be captured and how at each event in advance of the day so the consultant can come prepared with the proper equipment and know what to expect in regards of run-of-show.

 

In April and May 2023, the consultant will accompany LWR as a videographer to support in capturing the project participants’ business exhibition as well as ongoing project activities and interviews with select project participants. During this week, the consultant will also serve as Arabic – English translator for the participants and other individuals contributing to the videos, and therefore must be fluent in both languages. The consultant will have an online meeting with them and the project team to plan the filming of the videos.

LOGISTICAL PLANNING AND SITE VISIT

It is desired that the consultant be in the following locations on the following dates to capture these events:

  • 13 Apr 2023, Field trip to the Bekaa to capture success stories (if needed)
  • 14 Apr 2023, Field trip to the Bekaa to capture success stories (if needed)
  • 15 Apr 2023, Field trip to Saida to capture success stories (if needed)
  • 16 Apr 2023, Field trip to the North to capture success stories (if needed)
  • 26 and 27 Apr 2023, Business Fair/ Exhibition – Beirut
  • 12 May 2023, Graduation and closing ceremony- LAU Jbeil

The consultant will obtain permission of any individual to be photographed through a signed media release form that will be submitted to LWR along with the photo.

 

FINAL DELIVERABLES

The consultant will provide LWR with 4 short films that serve as success stories, fully edited, and translated according to USAID branding and marking policy.

The consultant will also provide LWR with 1 long film that serves as a presentation within the final graduation ceremony, fully edited, and translated according to USAID branding and marking policy.

 

The consultant will provide LWR with high resolution raw material that capture the key moments and people at the assigned project events. All details will be within the USAID branding and marking policy. The consultant will also provide LWR with all b-roll filmed at the assigned events. LWR’s videographer will need access to the consultant’s footage from the events filmed prior to March for possible inclusion in the final project videos.

 

The consultant will be set up with temporary access to LWR’s ResourceSpace photo library, where they will upload all photos as well as the corresponding captions and release forms. B-roll/video footage can be shared with LWR via WeTransfer or another sharing app to be decided between the consultant and LWR’s MarCom team.

 

All deliverables are to be delivered to LWR by no later than:

12 May 2023 for the graduation ceremony and closing event

Deliverables and Payment Criteria

The Service Provider shall complete all activities within the time frame specified by the Deliverable and Payment Schedule table below. The list of deliverables that would require review before acceptance is also given in the table below. Dates provided are estimates and service providers can propose alternatives based on their experience as to the stages of development, which can be discussed in the selection round for finalists.

 

The Deliverable and Payment Schedule also presents the corresponding payment terms as they relate to the deliverables of this assignment. Processing of payments will only commence upon acceptance of deliverables. Payments will be made within 30 days after receipt of invoice.
